Carlos is one of our experienced guides who has been leading treks and climbs for more than 5 years. From the age of 15 years he started working as a assistant cook with guided groups for many well known travel companies in Huaraz.

Then he started studying at Casa de Guias (CEAM), to become a qualified guide. In 2005 he became an IFMGA guide; he now has many years of experience organizing and guiding, trekking & climbing groups in the Peruvian Andes.

Carlos has studied English in the House of Guides; he speaks good English.
