Hisao has 20 years experience as a mountain and trekking guide, he is an active member of the Peruvian Guides Association and affiliated with the UIAGM. He has been to New Zealand in 2003 for three months in order to improving his knowledge in the English language. He leads trekking, climbing and hiking trips on the summer in the Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Huayhuash. He has ascended Alpamayo, Huascasran, Quitaraju, Ranrapalca Tocllaraju and other major peaks in the cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash. There is no secret hidden for him in the Peruvian Andes.

Hisao attended University in Lima from 1992 – 1996 obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Philosophy.
