The path to Laguna 69 starts at Cebollapampa
and follows the Yanapaccha valley. The path
is fairly obvious and the scenery is very
pleasant. The valley ends in open pasture
surrounded by five waterfalls. Climbing a
little you reach a plateau and from there
ascend three more kilometres to the lake.
The lake itself offers great views especially
during sunrise or sunset. The lake is at the
food of the Chacraraju mountain and from the
lake we have great views of the Huascaran,
chopicalqui and Pisco and Huandoy.
